Para3 Lightweight Skinny (Draco's Armor)

Custom titanium scale set for Spyderco Para3 Lightweight knives, with a few modifications to make it a slimmer and more robust option than the stock scales. Screw positioning has been arranged to be more like the PM2. Additional screws will be provided for the stop pin, both silver and black. We have included a second pivot washer to aid in centering the blade and creating a smoother action. we also added a backspacer to this kit in lieu of the stand offs that where molded into the original scales. it is a very minimalist backspacer. All backspacers, regardless of the scale finish, will have a stonewashed finish; However, the provided backspacer is interchangeable with all of our other para3 skinny backspacers. We also removed the lanyard hole, and replaced the wire clip slots with the three screw hole pattern for a standard clip. All scales are configured to be carried right hand tip up unless otherwise stated. These are for Lightweight knives only and will not work on standard para3 knives (You are purchasing scales only, no knife will be included with your order.)

ASSEMBLY
There is a few more steps to assembling these scale sets, but don't worry, we strive to make it as painless as possible.
Assemble all components onto the lock side scale first, including the backspacer. Then install the blade. Most find it easiest to install the blade in the open position. Finally, install the second scale, and clip. INSTALL YOUR STOCK PIVOT WASHER ON THE LOCK SIDE SCALE. use the provided washer on the opposite scale. when installing the lock bar under the backspacer, make sure that it is pushed all the way back, and can be pressed down without interference before tightening the provided 4-40 screw into the backspacer. This will secure the lockbar in place. When installing the stop pin, you will need to use two of the 2-56 screws provided with your kit, one on either side of the stop pin, do not tighten these screws too tight. We are also providing you with three new 2-56 screws for the clip installation.
